Being the official evil genius in Fiji from ANU, I am here to spread my mischief. As we know that Fiji is just another small pacific island with a large tourist population, the fun will begin from here.
It is too bad that there is not much opportunity to do anything funny, but thank goodness that I have get pass my jet lag. Alright, to everyone's surprise, I actually went to watch Harry Potter, and prior to that, getting stuck with Germans all day long. Actually, only 2 of them, but it is enough. On the case of Germans, the new Harry Potter movie has been inspired by 1984 and more accurately, the German Nazis as the new Ministry of Magic image. Nazi uniform with red arm bands, anyone?
It seems that all Nazis are are in a standard stereotype which encompasses hugo boss uniform, recce cap and their thougish way of doing things. Well, it is was the Brits concept of Nazism, so no flowers or Guten Stagen, but straight up macho Facism.
Going back to my research project, pornography, it is quite funny that I have to actually fight with a girl to do it. It seems weird, but the "Want to have my sausage" joke seems so bloody appropriate and normal. Going up another level I guess. It is just too bad that I am not going to do it for my actual course, otherwise, it would have been awesome.
